Junior Pro-Am Series 2023

August 2022 saw the launch of Get Golfing’s Junior Pro-Am Series. The series involved six of our outstanding venues hosting over 50 juniors for the day. The purpose of the series was to give junior golfers an opportunity like no other and provide a fun, enjoyable environment for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy.

This year we want to take it to the NEXT LEVEL and will be hosting a Junior Pro-Am at all 9 Get Golfing venues. You can find out more about where your local Pro-Am is taking place through the link below and we want to see as many juniors there as possible.

What is a Junior Pro-Am?

Each event is the perfect day for any junior golfer. Arrival to bacon rolls and goody bags, range balls before their tee time and then the chance to meet and chat to their respective professional golfer. Then to the 1st tee where they participate in a team game with two other juniors and their very own professional, as well as competing for loads of other spot prizes on the course (nearest the pins, straightest drives etc). With water stations and ice lolly’s keeping them refreshed, once finishing their 18 holes they arrive back to the clubhouse for a well earned BBQ meal. Fun activities such as putting challenges and outdoor games all around as the last few groups come in and scores are calculated. The day is wrapped up with a presentation for some of the fantastic prizes on offer.

The day isn’t bad for the pro’s too. They have the chance to showcase their skills and will receive an appearance fee (extra if bringing a team) in each event as well as being watered and fed similarly to the juniors.

All of this, completely free of charge. A truly unique and special Get Golfing initiative.
