Therese Swanson

Therese is a seasoned Project Manager in the Energy Industry running multibillion dollar projects in diverse regions including  Azerbaijan, Angola, Alaska, Egypt and Gulf of Mexico.  She has considerable experience in high-risk projects, with complex environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects.  As a chemical engineer she was always curious about the environmental and social corporate projects in her operations and spent quality time understanding the communities she touched and how she could improve their lives by education, clean water, agriculture, or green spaces.   She hopes to take these skills to get the best outcomes for  Get Golfing.

In Dec 2022, she was honoured to become a Trustee of Get Golfing and behind its key objectives to increase participation in golf, nurture a culture of inclusion, and promote the use of its facilities to non-golfers and other non for profit organisations within our communities.
